Full Journal pdf2007-05-14 House Journal Page 1365 HB 22 The following, which was held in third reading from the May 13, 2007, calendar, was again before the House with a motion to return to second reading moved and pending (page 1341): 2007-05-14 House Journal Page 1366 HOUSE BILL NO. 22 am "An Act extending the termination date for the Board of Governors of the Alaska Bar Association; making the Board of Governors subject to legislative confirmation; and providing for an effective date." Representative Holmes moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw the motion. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Stoltze moved and asked unanimous consent that HB 22 am be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 2. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 2 to HB 22 am (page 1298) was offered by Representatives Stoltze and Samuels: Page 1, line 2 (title amendment): Delete "making the Board of Governors subject to legislative confirmation;" Page 1, line 7: Delete "2010" Insert "2009" Page 1, line 8 through page 2, line 22: Delete all material. Renumber the following bill section accordingly. Representative Stoltze moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered, and the new title follows: HOUSE BILL NO. 22 am "An Act extending the termination date for the Board of Governors of the Alaska Bar Association; and providing for an effective date." 2007-05-14 House Journal Page 1367 The question being: "Shall HB 22 am pass the House?" Representative Samuels moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause.
